We collect your email address when you create an account. We store your monthly usage count, subscription status, and your tone and reply length preferences. We do not collect your name, location, or any other personal information.
Zito does not read your browser passively or in the background. It only processes text you explicitly select and submit. We do not store, read, or have access to the text you send to Zito or the responses generated for you — that content goes directly to OpenAI's API and is never saved on our servers. We do not track your browsing activity.
Your email is used only to authenticate your account and send you the one-time login code. Your usage count is used to enforce free plan limits. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in on the website. It expires after 30 days. The Chrome extension stores your auth token and preferences locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API — this data never leaves your device except when authenticating with our servers.
You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. We will remove your email and all associated data within 30 days.
